DHS declined to comment.<\/p>\n<p>By comparison, about 19 percent of malware attacks were targeted at <a title=\"Nokia\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/314603-Nokia-Corporation\">Nokia<\/a>&#8216;s <a title=\"Symbian\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/360524-Symbian\">Symbian<\/a> system and less than 1 percent each at <a title=\"Apple Inc\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/342717-Apple-Inc\">Apple Inc<\/a>&#8216;s <a title=\"iOS\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/464665-iOS\">iOS<\/a> software, <a title=\"Microsoft Corp\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/211580-Microsoft\">Microsoft Corp<\/a>&#8216;s <a title=\"Windows\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/462587-Windows-Phone\">Windows<\/a> and <a title=\"BlackBerry Ltd\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/342709-BlackBerry\">BlackBerry Ltd<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Android continues to be a &#8220;primary target for malware attacks due to its market share and open source architecture,&#8221; said the study, which was addressed to police, fire, emergency medical and security personnel.<\/p>\n<p>(Reporting By Poornima Gupta.
