The Samsung Galaxy S4<\/a> LTE is in final testing with operators, a spokesperson for Samsung told MyBroadband earlier this month (August 2013).<\/p>\n

This followed news that the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE would be delayed again<\/a> to \u201csometime in September 2013\u201d, according to Vodacom<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Previously, Samsung said that the Galaxy S4 LTE would launch 6 weeks after the S4 became available on 27 April 2013.<\/p>\n

It was then revealed that the S4 LTE has an estimated retail price of R8,499<\/a> and would launch by the end of June or early July 2013.<\/p>\n

When asked what was delaying the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE, a Vodacom spokesperson said that Samsung would be better placed to answer the question.<\/p>\n

Samsung<\/a>, in turn, suggested that the process of testing the device on the LTE networks of South Africa\u2019s mobile operators was holding up the launch.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is Samsung\u2019s mandate to ensure that all devices are fully evaluated and optimised prior to making these available, ensuring a favourable consumer experience,\u201d a Samsung spokesperson said.<\/p>\n

\u201cOnce finalised, release dates will be communicated,\u201d said Samsung.<\/p>\n
