{"id":8566,"date":"2009-06-26T16:08:00","date_gmt":"2009-06-26T14:08:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2009-06-26T16:08:00","modified_gmt":"2009-06-26T14:08:00","slug":"fake-twitter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/internet\/8566-fake-twitter.html","title":{"rendered":"Fake Twitter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The counterfeit Miliband comments were picked up by a number of British and other media, including AFP, after the US pop legend died in Los Angeles on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>But the Foreign Office said Miliband does not have a Twitter account, noting that a number of media had also picked up a false &#8220;tweet&#8221; from him commenting on a Bob Dylan concert, which he did not attend.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This is an apposite moment for us to point out (as some commentators suspect) that the Foreign Secretary does not have a Twitter account,&#8221; it said in an email to media.<\/p>\n<p>The fake Miliband comment, included on a Twitter account page set up in his name, said of Jackson: &#8220;Never has one soared so high and yet dived so low.
