Vodacom<\/a>, Cell C<\/a>, Telkom Mobile<\/a>, and MTN<\/a> have confirmed that they plan to offer the new Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 edition<\/a>), with Cell C saying that it hopes for an early Q4 2013 launch.<\/p>\n

As with other devices, availability will depend on network testing, Cell C and MTN said, while Telkom Mobile added that it will depend on when Samsung<\/a> delivers the new Note 10.1 to them.<\/p>\n

Spokespeople for the network operators said that pricing details for the new tablet announced by Samsung are not available yet, with MTN saying it only make announcements on this.<\/p>\n

A Samsung South Africa spokesperson said that they are unable to confirm details on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition.<\/p>\n

However, the original Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is available from operators who have agreed to carry it at a recommended retail price of R9,999, Samsung said.<\/p>\n

Samsung announced its new Galaxy Note 10.1 at IFA in Berlin earlier in September 2013, along with a number of new features.<\/p>\n

These include an improved S Pen, and better multitasking support with features such as Multi Window.<\/p>\n

Multi Window lets users run apps in two different windows \u2013 either two different apps, or two instances of the same app.<\/p>\n

Samsung also announced upgrades to hardware components such as the display and processor:<\/p>\n
