The organising committee of WordCamp Cape Town announced in a press statement today (Friday, 20 September 2013) that ticket sales for the event had opened.<\/p>\n
WordCamp events are community-organised gatherings focused on the WordPress publishing platform, with the Cape Town event being organised by WooThemes employees and held at the Cape Town stadium.<\/p>\n
WooThemes is a company well-known for selling premium WordPress themes, which now offers other extensions to the platform as well, and was co-founded by South African Adii Pienaar.<\/p>\n
Early bird tickets for WordCamp Cape Town, of which there are only 50, are available from the WordCamp website<\/a>\u00a0for R300.
