{"id":9027,"date":"2009-07-31T22:06:00","date_gmt":"2009-07-31T20:06:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2009-07-31T22:06:00","modified_gmt":"2009-07-31T20:06:00","slug":"new-telkom-pricing-kicks-in","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/telecoms\/9027-new-telkom-pricing-kicks-in.html","title":{"rendered":"New Telkom pricing kicks in"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In June this year Telkom announced that it had <a href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/ADSL\/8488.html\">filed its latest tariff adjustments with ICASA<\/a>, which sees an overall price increase of 1.7%.&nbsp; The new tariffs kick in today.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>From today onwards per second tariffs for Standard and Callmore time increase by 4.2 cents and 2.1 cents per minute respectively. The tariffs for long distance calls remain unchanged.<\/p>\n<p>PrepaidFone as well as postpaid residential and business line rental charges increase by 5.5% while the PrepaidFone Waya-Waya annual subscription increases from R120.00 to R130.00 per annum.
