{"id":9083,"date":"2009-08-05T12:57:00","date_gmt":"2009-08-05T10:57:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2009-08-05T12:57:00","modified_gmt":"2009-08-05T10:57:00","slug":"cell-c-and-mxit-join-forces","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/cellular\/9083-cell-c-and-mxit-join-forces.html","title":{"rendered":"Cell C and MXit join forces"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Cell C today announced the launch of its six-month Superchargers promotion in partnership with South Africa&rsquo;s leading mobile Instant Messaging (IM) service and social networking software application, MXit. <\/p>\n<p>The promotion will give Cell C customers free Moola when they recharge with Cell C airtime as well as free data when chatting person to person. <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The superchargers promotion is open to all Cell C prepaid customers.&nbsp; However, customers must register on MXit to be eligible. To be &lsquo;Supercharged&rsquo;, customers must have a GPRS enabled handset, from which they can then download the MXit application for free, register for MXit and then benefit from the Superchargers promotion,&rdquo; says Simon Camerer, Cell C&rsquo;s Executive Head: Marketing.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>Camerer says &ldquo;It is very easy to become a Supercharger.
