DStv Mobile announced in a press statement on Tuesday, 5 November 2013, that KykNet has been added, and Mzansi Magic would replace Africa Magic Movies on its bouquet.<\/p>\n
As with the mobile M-Net channel, KykNet will only be available to DStv Premium subscribers.<\/p>\n
According to DStv Mobile, the mobile version of Mzansi Magic is largely the same as the satellite channel.<\/p>\n
Where licences have not been granted for certain movies, substitute movies have been scheduled, DStv Mobile said.<\/p>\n
DStv Mobile is available as stand-alone service at R49 per month and boasts 13 channels, including SuperSport 1, 2, 3, and 4.<\/p>\n
DStv Premium subscribers can get DStv Mobile at no subscription cost, and receive M-Net and now KykNet in addition to the 13 channels available on the stand-alone bouquet.<\/p>\n
According to DStv Mobile, coverage is available in the 10 major cities of South Africa: Johannesburg (including Soweto), Pretoria, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Polokwane, East London, Mbombela, Rustenburg, Bloemfontein, and Durban.<\/p>\n
