{"id":926,"date":"2007-08-08T14:57:00","date_gmt":"2007-08-08T12:57:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2007-08-08T14:57:00","modified_gmt":"2007-08-08T12:57:00","slug":"telkom-launches-r-250-00-a-year-service","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/telecoms\/926-telkom-launches-r-250-00-a-year-service.html","title":{"rendered":"Telkom launches &#8216;R 250-00 a year&#8217; service"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The service enables new customers to pay R250 which buys line installation, one year&rsquo;s rental (R120.00), R10 airtime and a telephone instrument. <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Our PrepaidFone Waya-Waya service forms part of the Company&rsquo;s numerous innovative efforts to bring our services to the doorstep of our customers by accelerating access and increasing our value proposition to the customer,&rdquo; says Erna Korff, Acting Managing Executive for Retail Marketing.<\/p>\n<p>Customers will pay a 50c surcharge on all outgoing calls in addition to the current PrepaidFone call rates. <\/p>\n<p>PrepaidFone call rates are as follows: 46 cents per minute (including VAT) during local standard time, 21cents per minute (including VAT) for local callmore time, with a 50cents (including VAT) surcharge levied on all outgoing calls.<\/p>\n<p>Telkom&rsquo;s pre-existing customers are also allowed to migrate to PrepaidFone Waya Waya if they have a credit balance of more than R120 on their account or if they pay R120 to move to the Waya Waya service.
