{"id":9368,"date":"2009-08-26T14:32:00","date_gmt":"2009-08-26T12:32:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2009-08-26T14:32:00","modified_gmt":"2009-08-26T12:32:00","slug":"local-snow-leopard-pricing-revealed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/software\/9368-local-snow-leopard-pricing-revealed.html","title":{"rendered":"Local Snow Leopard pricing revealed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Apple announced on Monday that its next-generation Snow Leopard operating system tailored for Macintosh computers will be launched on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Snow Leopard builds on our most successful operating system ever and we&#8217;re happy to get it to users earlier than expected,&#8221; said Apple senior vice president of software engineering Bertrand Serlet.<\/p>\n<p>A representative from Core Group, exclusive distributors of Apple products in South Africa, said that South African Mac users can also expect the new OS on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The product should be available from Friday [28 August] at all Apple Premium Resellers or early next week in the larger retailers, all going well with the shipment,&rdquo; said Core Group.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Core Group representative, &ldquo;The cost will be R329 for the upgrade.
