{"id":95595,"date":"2014-01-27T17:58:33","date_gmt":"2014-01-27T15:58:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=95595"},"modified":"2014-01-27T17:59:28","modified_gmt":"2014-01-27T15:59:28","slug":"sa-post-office-workers-strike","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/government\/95595-sa-post-office-workers-strike.html","title":{"rendered":"SA post office workers strike"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Some postal service workers embarked on an illegal strike on Monday, said the SA Post Office (Sapo).<\/p>\n<p>The strikers were employed in the mail sorting centres, said spokesman Christopher Hlekane.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Early indications are that some operations, including mail and retail, are being disrupted by the work stoppages,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>It was not clear how many workers were on strike.<\/p>\n<p>Hlekane said Sapo management was trying to resolve the workers&#8217; issues.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Sapo advises that the principle of no-work, no-pay will apply.
