{"id":96087,"date":"2014-02-03T21:38:06","date_gmt":"2014-02-03T19:38:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=96087"},"modified":"2014-02-04T09:47:28","modified_gmt":"2014-02-04T07:47:28","slug":"1100-increase-on-vodacom-multi-data-sims-price","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/cellular\/96087-1100-increase-on-vodacom-multi-data-sims-price.html","title":{"rendered":"1000% increase on Vodacom Multi Data SIMs price"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a title=\"Vodacom\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/227063-Vodacom\">Vodacom<\/a> has hiked the price of Multi Data-SIMs from R9\/month to R29\/month for voice contract customers and R99\/month for data contract customers, MyBroadband has learned.<\/p>\n<p>Subscribers that already have Multi Data-SIMs will continue to pay the R9 per SIM per month, but any new activations will attract the new fees as of 31 January 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Those on Vodacom&#8217;s &#8220;Red&#8221; plans (which start at R999\/month), will also still get two free Multi Data-SIM (MDS) activations on their accounts<\/p>\n<p>News of <a title=\"Vodacom Multi Data SIM: 5 SIMs per contract\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/cellular\/19057-vodacom-multi-data-sim-5-sims-per-contract.html\">Vodacom\u2019s Multi Data-SIM<\/a> offering emerged during March 2011, allowing Vodacom contract customers to add up to four additional subscriber identity modules (SIMs) to their accounts.<\/p>\n<p>While each SIM has its own number, they are all able to make use of a single account\u2019s data bundle.
