{"id":97713,"date":"2014-03-01T14:37:02","date_gmt":"2014-03-01T12:37:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=97713"},"modified":"2014-03-01T14:38:02","modified_gmt":"2014-03-01T12:38:02","slug":"damn-you-this-is-not-android-4-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/technology\/97713-damn-you-this-is-not-android-4-3.html","title":{"rendered":"Damn you, this is not Android 4.3"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A consumer lodged a successful complaint with the Advertising Standards Authority of South Africa (<a title=\"ASA\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/306365-ASA-Advertising-Standards-Authority\">ASA<\/a>) against <a title=\"Cell C\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/213919-Cell-C\">Cell C<\/a>\u2019s advertising which stated that the <a title=\"Samsung Galaxy S3 mini\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/499784-Samsung-Galaxy-S-III-Mini\">Samsung Galaxy S3 mini<\/a> runs on <a title=\"Android\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/221979-Google-Android\">Android<\/a> 4.3.<\/p>\n<p>According to the complainant the Cell C ad was misleading because Android 4.3 is not available on the Samsung Galaxy S3 mini in South Africa.<\/p>\n<p>Cell C responded through Clear Copy which confirmed that there was an error that was not picked up on proofreading.
