{"id":9827,"date":"2009-10-01T11:24:00","date_gmt":"2009-10-01T09:24:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2009-10-01T11:24:00","modified_gmt":"2009-10-01T09:24:00","slug":"another-20-data-usage-price-cut","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/telecoms\/9827-another-20-data-usage-price-cut.html","title":{"rendered":"Another 20% data usage price cut"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well known web hosting company Hetzner has surprised its &lsquo;Managed Dedicated and Truserv&rsquo; customers by reducing the traffic charges from R0.05 per MB to R0.04 per MB.&nbsp; This 20% price cut comes only two months after Hetzner announced that it has reduced the price of its managed server traffic usage from R0.09 per MB to R0.05 per MB.<\/p>\n<p>This latest price cut means that the overall price reduction for data usage on Hetzner&rsquo;s dedicated server platforms over the last three months has been 56%, good news to website owners of high volume websites.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Hetzner is committed to reducing costs for our customers, passing on cost-saving benefits wherever possible,&rdquo; said Athena Turner, Hetzner&rsquo;s Marketing &amp; Communications Manager.&nbsp; &ldquo;As of today (1 October 2009), Hetzner has reduced its over-usage traffic charges for its Managed Dedicated and Truserv customers.
