{"id":9903,"date":"2009-10-07T11:22:00","date_gmt":"2009-10-07T09:22:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2009-10-07T11:22:00","modified_gmt":"2009-10-07T09:22:00","slug":"fnb-online-banking-continues-to-frustrate-users","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/internet\/9903-fnb-online-banking-continues-to-frustrate-users.html","title":{"rendered":"FNB Online banking continues to frustrate users"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>FNB&rsquo;s online banking service started experiencing problems on Sunday after a software update caused database load problems.&nbsp; Four days after the initial problem occurred the system is still not stable.<\/p>\n<p>According to the FNB website online access is currently &lsquo;regulated&rsquo;.&nbsp; &ldquo;This could mean you receive a message indicating our system is unavailable. Please try again later. Your support whilst we restore our system to allow unrestricted access is appreciated,&rdquo; the FNB website states.<\/p>\n<p>According to the company they have made significant progress in solving the problems associated with the software update.&nbsp; FNB will however continue to limit the number of online banking connections, effectively creating a queue of users.<\/p>\n<p>FNB clients are not happy.&nbsp; &ldquo;For what it&#8217;s worth, it&#8217;s now Wednesday and they are still offline. I am closing all my personal as well as business accounts with these fools,&rdquo; said one subscriber.&nbsp; &ldquo;All well and good about limiting the number of logons, but when will I be able to logon? I have made several attempts during the course of the morning without success.
