{"id":9971,"date":"2009-10-12T15:02:00","date_gmt":"2009-10-12T13:02:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2009-10-12T15:02:00","modified_gmt":"2009-10-12T13:02:00","slug":"microsoft-to-issue-largest-security-update-ever","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/software\/9971-microsoft-to-issue-largest-security-update-ever.html","title":{"rendered":"Microsoft to issue largest security update ever"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Microsoft has announced that it would be issuing its largest ever security update on 13 October.&nbsp; The update will include 13 bulletins which will address 34 vulnerabilities that the company has identified in its products reports the BBC.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the security patches included will resolve several loopholes Microsoft has highlighted in different editions of Windows, Internet Explorer, SQL Server and Office.<\/p>\n<p>One of these updates in particular, which has been flagged as critical, tackles an issue that has arisen in the operation of Internet Explorer 8 within Windows 7, which is due to be released on 22 October.<\/p>\n<p>The updates will be performed automatically but can also be found online at Microsoft&rsquo;s Security page.<\/p>\n<p>The update is essential to implement in the long run says Microsoft.
