    I'm not sure if this will be labeled as spam, if. so Mods please remove. But I would like to ask all my fellow MyBB's to please sign this petition. We are hoping to get a whatsapp version on the N9 legally.

    I would like to petition the opposite. i.e. don't bring whatsapp to the N9. Where do I sign up?

    This is a good question! ALL platforms using one method of communication - that is cheap - sounds like a good idea... Good thing it wasn't designed in South Africa; it would literally cost the earth to use...

    I signed this thing last year, its not happening. They complaining about the fact that its a "dead" OS.

    Whatsapp is amazing and i think should be on all OS.
    Even if N9 is a dying one, many people still use it and want it.
    Were is the Equality ........... IOS....

    lol true but the more votes are there the more the dev's at whatsapp will get the message that we want and need this. I know of 2 projects to make the app capable on the N9 but it's leveraging on the illegal side of the spectrum as the app then won't need to be paid for.

    The N9 is an awesome phone and this is one of the few things it's missing.

    I agree to a point but sadly to cheaply communicate with family and friends Whatsapp is needed. If everyone used Google Talk or had skype onn their phone I'd be happy but unfortunetly they don't and as I want to remain in contact.. This unfortunetly is a necessity. I hate BBM with the passion of a thousand suns though.. That service should disappear asap.

    The problem I find with Google Talk and Skype is that they don't queue temporarily undeliverable messages at their servers.

    So if the sender and the recipient are not both online at the same time, your message doesn't get through. This is one big advantage SMS still has.
