    So what now -

A few million e-tags going nowhere.

Long leases on e-toll outlets in malls with no customers.

Gantry staff with nothing to monitor.

Whoever gave the go-ahead for this fiasco - aren't you just having a s***ty weekend!

People have been saying that there's some suspicious hacking BS going on at N24 with thumbs-down spam. Sounds a little over the top to me but apparently guys have been getting thumbs-downs in the hundreds within seconds of posting.

This is my favourite - a granny giving her two shillings worth about dastardly trolls and the matter in general...

Odd, because you can only give one thumbs down per user.

Yip - the News24 crowd are very against the tolls and yet on some articles, the most "thumbed-up" comment is a pro-government one. Very suspicious.

Actually the ANC suspended the tolls even before the court.

    Suspended, but did not cancel.

I have more faith in the courts to deal with this than I do with the cANCer government.

Neither did the courts cancel it, it's a wait and see situation.

The court "interdicted" it. That is a damn sight better than some phony agreement between the ANC and Cosatu.
Now there will be a proper Judicial review of the entire process, which holds far more promise of ending this whole farce, than simply appealing to the ANC.

What was Anc's aim of postponing before the ruling was made? To look good or score some brownie points because they knew an interdict was most likely to occur?
