    Yeah they're mostly OK.

Also...I see an external link was included the mybb article. I suspect someone will face a firing squad for that oversight.

    Doesn't MyBB allow external links?

They are traditionally difficult about it to an extent that borders on the retarded. e.g. Writing an entire article about a website...and then not linking to said website. So you end up googling for the URL.

Its probably got some reasoning behind it that has something to do with SEO/google rankings/alexa rankings or something but for the readers its just a pain.

I am not sure exactly who decided that we need a standard that is pretty much unique. What's the point? So it is compatible with our two-pin plugs but from my experience they are probably the mechanically most unreliable plugs out there. Why couldn't we just adopt something that is already in wide use?

The new wall sockets appear to cost less than most multiplug adapters so it seems like a sensible option to slowly start replacing 15A sockets with the new design instead of purchasing any new multiplug adapters.

Why not make it the same as the europlug? Two pins and one hole for the earth. Name: EL-211.jpg

The existing plug is a very good design! The one we moving to does not really seem to make sense as no one other than us uses it! So why the change? You can only plug a euro plug into it other than what it is designed for!

Ok, so when this is installed there is no need for the 2 pin adapter for cellphone chargers because the two pin will fit in the new 3 pin socket.

That is brilliant one less adapter to worry about.
