The family of missing Nelson Mandela Bay teacher Jayde Panayiotou, has offered a R50 000 reward for any information that would lead to her safe return.
“We and the family just want her back. If we can get her back safe and sound I am more than willing to pay the money,” a family member, Peter Becker, told The Herald.
Panayiotou, a teacher at Riebeek College Girls’ High School in Uitenhage, was apparently waiting for a lift outside her residence in Stellen Glen in Kabega Park this morning (21/04/15) before she went missing.
“She was not at the house when her lift arrived and money does appear to have been withdrawn from an ATM in Kwanobuhle,” police spokesman Warrant Officer Alwin Labans said.
Earlier on Tuesday Panayiotou’s family pleaded with the public to assist in the search and thousands of social media users have been sharing pictures of her.
