3Dprintingstore.co.za? Looks like they have some cheaper printers. But might still be cheaper to buy from Gearbest..

I've used UglyMonkey before for Fillament. Their printers looks pricey though.

Iíve been working with a Prusa i3 copy kit for a while. It seems really poorly put together. A lot of the parts are cracking. I donít need a fancy premium printer but not a piece of crap lol

What's your budget? You get what you pay for.

The idea with many cheap printers is that you just need to be able to get it to print, and then make it better by printing parts for it.

Maybe join some 3d printer groups on Facebook and decide from there.

The general a8 conversation is lots of work and frustration getting one going but good for learning how to. Also lots of upgrades required (so does not just cost R3k to get a printer).

    Have any suggestions on groups?

I don't want to spend a fortune and find out its a hobby I'm not really into (I tend to do that a lot)

Not sure how these work - if you can tinker yourself or just order the part:

Great group, lots of members, questions and info.

Give you a very good idea what you are getting yourself into.
