I take it you haven't been to my local Cubana, this kind of behaviour won't even be noticed there.

    MDUDUZI MANANA APOLOGISES

JOHANNESBURG - Deputy Minister of Higher Education Mduduzi Manana has apologised for allegedly assaulting a woman in Fourways, Johannesburg on Sunday morning.

“Regardless of the extreme provocation, I should have exercised restraint. That shameful incident should not have happened.

"I know that my actions and those of the people in my company have disappointed and hurt many people in the country. As a leader, I should have known better and acted better. I will subject myself fully to the process of the law and give it my full cooperation.”

Manana says he further notes the fake accounts that have been opened in his personal name, showing less remorse to the victim and intended to further tarnish his name.

“I also commit myself to, when the time is right, further engage with Ms Duma and her family to apologise, take responsibility and address the harm that has occurred.

“I will also meet with my organization, the ANC, and President Jacob Zuma to give a full account of the incident.”

Earlier on Monday, Minister of Women in the Presidency Susan Shabangu urged that the assault case against Manana be urgently addressed.

Minister Susan Shabangu says Manana's behaviour is unacceptable.

Investigation, if found guilty fire him... Oh wait government official. Two legs bad, four legs good, except for some.
Do you hear the voices, too?

It is sub judice, it remains alleged until proven otherwise by a court if it goes that far. He'd be foolish to incriminate himself when charges are pending.

I've just learned today that I don't take my job seriously because I go out on Friday/Saturdays.

I am of a nation that would not allow that fear of death, of torture, of imprisonment, of exile or persecution should result in the perpetuation of injustice.

Charges are pending, hence alleged. Everything is "alleged" until you're proven guilty in court, unless you're dumb enough to outright admit it and incriminate yourself.
