    Default Webafrica Service is dismal!

    Hi All,

Signed up for this offer through WA and the service has been shyte!

Where can I complain in the hopes of someone getting off there arse and assisting me in getting my router delivered?

    Thanks!

When did you sign up? The router takes 5 working days to be delivered. I was also disappointed when I heard it took so long, when TakeAlot can deliver next day usually.

    Which areas?

I helped a client (really OLD) to sign up for RAIN. No ADSL/Fibre near there YET.

Applied late Wed. Submitted scans requested. Logged in online as instructed. I kept the person on the phone for the most part. The router was delivered Fri morning. That was in Sept.

Also as per the gent's request I have been added to query etc. I refused permission to alter/add services without him present or he would have added that too.

But now at least if he has a problem I can talk to WA, coz as the gent says:"I don't understand the internet stuff, that's your job"

    Signed up last week. Wednesday.

I hadn't even received a call from digital planet to deliver my router, I had to phone them this morning. All the while Webafrica keeps telling me to be patient.

Strange how they give different people different service.
Applied Wed afternoon. Thurs afternoon I got a call from DP.

I have a few 65+ aged clients that I have helped with getting RAIN after iburst closed.

Maybe I got teleconsultants that are happy doing their work?

I think the big difference here is you phone in, while the OP might have only signed up online and/or via email?

    Yep signed up online.

Really don't see that being a reason for my experience.

Nope should not make a difference.

The calls are to the benefit of old people, so the folks can hear the details nothing else really.

I did speak to someone to confirm they have the scanned Rica docs. As they want that and the online login/confirmation done before digital planet gets involved.

I do need a test done at another site as the edge of the signal coverage runs right on the front of that building. They will be happy with 5-10meg. They don't need a blue train.

Any suggestions or assistance in that regard?

Not sure you are going to get a response. I messaged him a moment after his post and as yet, nothing...
