I am starting to love JZ. What he's doing to the ANC now is devastating.

I hope he calls for early elections after Parliament votes him out. If I understand correctly, he'll have the power to call for early elections once he's forced to resign.

I honestly don't see the early election favouring the opposition, at least not so much to see them winning the elections or seeing a big jump in their votes. Seeme all of this is done on the premise that only the ANC will be caught unprepared, but is the opposition prepared for an early election?
I am of a nation that would not allow that fear of death, of torture, of imprisonment, of exile or persecution should result in the perpetuation of injustice.

It doesn't matter how devastating this is for the ANC; their voter base don't care about any of this. They will carry on voting ANC next year and the ANC will still take the majority. They always will.

More harm to the ANC than the opposition. Once the attrition of Zuma ends, the ANC will go from strength to strength, as they clean up the mess they created.

ANC decline is extremely rapid. Look at how quickly they went from >50 to <33 in the Western Cape. They're useless as opposition, and once the hands are off the purse, their cadres quickly abandon them. If Gauteng goes to the opposition, it's the end of the ANC by 2023.
