Bit disingenuous, don't you think? That could go both ways.

As I said before, what team is going to be "squeaky clean" if they stand up to the self-confessed verbal bullying tactics of the Aussies. It's puerile to try and defend the Aussie team by saying the other team were not saints themselves.

So, you think the thrashing the Aussies received might have been due to fantastical (tooth fairy) or godlike (praying) intervention? You actually sounded quite level-headed before. Before the almost 500 run defeat that is.

Umpires still owe us 5 runs from Newlands.

Of course...isn't that the point I am trying to make?

Again, the opposite of what I am saying...no defence of Aussies, but just pointing out Faf's culture bull****

...and yet again the opposite of what I am saying, in my initial comment, I question why the proteas are all so God fearing and believe that God is helping them.
You have to ask Vern that question...thought it was his fantastic bowling, but he seemed to think it is "His awesome God..." in his post match interview.
I thought he was level headed...you on other hand ?

...oh yes...and besides, if you paid close attention, I actually support the Proteas...and long before this saga too

I didn't see any interviews, and your post wasn't clear, what with bringing the tooth fairy into it.

And your opposite obviously differs to mine, because notwithstanding close attention and all, I don't see your posts the way you seem to do.

Having said that, I too detest the "god supported me/us" kind of thing in any sport. I always want to slap the person and ask them why the **** do they think god picked them to win and not the other person/team.

I still cringe when I watch Francois Pienaar going down on his knee to pray after the final whistle when SA won the rugby world cup....

Don't think he had much choice, but I imagine his support circle had to do some convincing for the numbskull.

Yep. Definitely. That and the pressure he would have faced if he went against what Smith and Bancroft opted to accept.

He is too much of a brick and would have done so, think Smith and the others ordered him to be quiet

    Just watched the Kohli/Smith incident.
And I thought Kohli was the bigger prick.

Smith was so obvious there trying to get info from the changeroom.

These guys need to learn to cheat better. Batsmen just need to keep a tiny buzzer in their pocket. Then someone from the changeroom can just buzz them to let them know the review is worth it.

Unfortunately, cheating is not allowed, and being a [consistent] prick is not blocked by any rule.

I wonder if Smith decided to go upstairs when Kohli gave him the send off?
