Cannot give you more rep. Thanks for the info. Honestly I didn't read the article before asking. I did now however. Doesn't say how long they have to surrender the plane before de-registration will take place.

Not sure of the timeframes, or their intentions. Just happy that their wings have been clipped.

BTW, I watched a few videos on YT of that type of plane, and it really is awesome. Glad the scum won't be using it.

Still waiting for them to be arrested.

The CAA previously said it would not oppose the application.

The Guptas have 15 days to comply.

They are expected to appeal the ruling.

"EDC is pleased with the favourable ruling and expects an orderly handover of the aircraft pursuant to the court order‚" spokesman Phil Taylor told Business Day on Monday.
    Yeah whatever mate

15 days to lodge an appeal. Then months/years for the appeal to be finalised.

EDC have ZERO idea who they are dealing with.

These being the Guptas, friends of the deposed emperor, are you telling me you aren't expecting any form of challenge? No matter how futile?

They'll wait until the last day before they mount their challenge

So stingy that they even commit tax fraud to hide their criminal proceeds (and probably to hire a good tax lawyer too).

Could the Guptas be the biggest con artists yet to roam the earth? I am just surprised how far the rot reached over the world.

These guys are still fighting, weirdly slippery legal arguments: https://www.news24.com/SouthAfrica/N...uptas-20180413

Further, the Guptas state that the court was misdirected in finding that a failure to provide audited financial statements from the Guptas constituted an event of default.

They also contend that: "The court erred in holding the delisting of Oakbay Resources was material. The court ignored the fact that it voluntarily delisted itself from the Johannesburg Stock Exchange."

I believe ZS-OAK landed at Lanseria just after 22:00 last night.
