He did fine vs lyon in the home series

He hasn't faced it much first up, usually only after getting in. It takes adjusting to, he will come right. Only the first innings.

This is where AB's selfishness comes home to roost. Instead of guiding the likes of markram, bavuma and de bruyn on their first/second sub continent tour he chucks it away and puts all the pressure on them.

On the bowling front we let sri lanka get away. We should have bowled more pace at the last 2 partnerships.

Yep. Have to agree. If he was not so focused on making money, why not call it quits after this tour? BBL, IPL and all other money-spinners wouldn't interfere.

Edit: No worries with Markram. He is the future of the Proteas when the stalwarts call it quits. Was just wondering if this was a possible weakness.

Faf has too much on his hands worrying about Steyn finishing a game -- oh, and, apparently ball tampering too

Amla will have to do it on his own.

33 overs bowled in the morning session -- and that with 5 wickets falling. Yesterday evening, Bangladesh bowled around 35 overs in their first session. Kudos to them both!

Terrible batting display. I miss the days of kallis and Smith, they could bat in the sub continent.
