Default High CPU usage on Ubuntu 18.04

It seems gnome is using up all the CPU available will constantly spike to 99% other times hover between 19% - 78% even with no apps open.

Some extensions can cause this. Install Gnome Tweak Tool and try turning off one entension at a time to check if any are causing the high cpu usage.
    LOAD "*",8,1

Interesting that VSCode is now the default IDE (probably one of the first times - if not the first time that MS has achieved this).

I also like the minimal install option so I can avoid bloatware.

Well, still 10 days to go before release, so I hope you are reporting all those bugs you are finding:

I am, but boy it's frustrating.

Really not impressed so far, but hoping it ends up being awesome.

I want to get rid of windows.
