    Default High CPU usage on Ubuntu 18.04

    It seems gnome is using up all the CPU available will constantly spike to 99% other times hover between 19% - 78% even with no apps open.

    Some extensions can cause this. Install Gnome Tweak Tool and try turning off one entension at a time to check if any are causing the high cpu usage.

    Uninstall cpu usage tool. Prob solved.

    Interesting that VSCode is now the default IDE (probably one of the first times - if not the first time that MS has achieved this).

    I also like the minimal install option so I can avoid bloatware.
