    Default Repairing Mecer ME-850 UPS

My Mecer ME-850 UPS stopped working after many years of service. When I switch it on, nothing happens - no lights on the front panel. When I disconnect & reconnect mains supply, no relay clicking noise. Can anyone suggest where I can find the circuit diagram or service manual for this UPS?
    Thank you

Not sure if the Mecer is a rebranded APC but this is what i have.

Thanks Dirk, but the circuit shown on the website you've emailed confirms my Mecer is not a rebranded APC. I stumbled on this:

    https://www.ebay.ie/itm/new-ups-boar...-/252957604658

which is exactly the board I have. Seems the Mecer is a rebrand of Advice PRV850 UPS sold by Advice, a company based in Israel...

Did you check if your batteries have enough voltage to power it up?

The battery sits at around 10V, so its probably dead. However, surely if one switches on the UPS at least the red mains light should come on? All lights are dead on the front panel when switching it on.

Mmm...according to the user manual, no lit lights on the front panel could mean a dead battery...

..and then I took out the battery, the side that faced the transformer is cracked and bulging outwards! I guess I'd need to replace it, hopefully UPS functionality will be restored then.
