Question MTN Contract Issue with Afrihost Data

    Good day everyone,

I am currently using a prepaid SIM card with MTN so I can use the Afrihost APN for extra data, yesterday however I tried activating a contract on my number for a new cellphone and the lady doing the contract said it couldn't be done because I have the number registered for data with Afrihost.

Can anyone confirm if this is true? Do I need to cancel my data with Afrihost before I can switch from prepaid to contract?

I'm using afrihost data om my contract number with no issue so don't know why this will be a issue! Maybe give MTN a call.
