or one of those trike things? can be narrow and fast, and the bigger vehicle for the larger amounts of cash.

I mean its an arms race, explosive bomb VS small toyota dyna converted truck.
no contest, if they got something faster, like a bike or a fast car, wouldn't it be able to get away from those guys with guns?

I mean get a AMG merc C-Class estate converted, put 2 turbos on it, flashing blue lights, bullbars, and drive like your possessed....
or even a chevy lumina SS with bullbars?

maybe the idea the CIT guys have isnt the right one? small little Van with a tiny bit of armour
maybe it might work for small little jobs, but for bigger ones, you need a frikkin tank surely?

    just my 2C worth.
A spike strip will disable it in no time.
    Yeah whatever mate

The risk management by the CIT company is also weak there. Why have the two trucks together like that?

When I see this **** I think the move towards crypto can't come soon enough.

Take the cash out of the equation and all these problems go away.

Others do the same, followed by their "escort" cars sometimes.

Refineries will be their next targets. They'll find something.

It's a stupid risk. Those escorts never have the numbers or weapons to match an ambush. Anyway these things can only be prevented by functioning crime and national intelligence. Those guys would have spent time planning this robbery. Questions were asked, info was solicited, they assembled the team, got weapons, gathered somewhere before, planned money laundering, planned escape routes, hideouts, etc. It's actually amazing that heavily armed criminals are able to regularly ride around without being spotted. Not that any patrol that stopped them would live but it'd make them abandon the plan

And normally the "soldiers" get paid upfront during recruitment while the career CIT guys take the score and launder it and they're usually career criminals.

definitely not random .. well planned in fact.

quiet intersection and enough explosives to blow 2 trucks as well as look outs placed on the corner.
some intelligence there at the very least

Yup, 100% agreed - we don't have a functioning police force with a proper intelligence team - the scorpions (rest their soul) were probably our best hope - they were trained by the FBI.. but trained too well, so zuma buried them...

Our police force is basically the same as ADT, they're a reaction force as opposed to a proactive force

That's why you're seeing security companies changing their models to mirror a police force, and it's working to reduce crime, because they have intel teams and their officers dont sitting waiting for crime, but go around and question people and interact with the community

I've seen police escorts before. Not that it makes any difference...

    This was intense.

Ottoman cannons can't destroy Byzantine walls. 1453 was an inside job.
