"What type of freedom is this that, 24 years after freedom, we are worse off than where we were during apartheid? The people want their land, the people want their wealth, they want to own, but they are let down... that which I am putting on the table is the best offer to white people: let black people own their land," Malema said.
Who exactly is he addressing here? Whites aren't in control anymore, we can't fix your problems for you..

I suggest you speak to the ANC (government) about your issues with your share not trickling down because Zuma gave it to the Guptas.

Don't feel too let down, uncle Atul will look after it nicely in Dubai..

Offering the Commander a 7.62mm piece of lead and copper can be seen as a declaration of war, forget about not provoking Zuma, you really don't want to provoke the Commander and his fighters.

I am of a nation that would not allow that fear of death, of torture, of imprisonment, of exile or persecution should result in the perpetuation of injustice.

I find it extremely funny how someone like Thechamp who is an EFF supporter, assumes or thinks Malema even cares about him. He's there to fight the cause of the squatter camp people and the likes. Middle Class black people to Malema are all ANC supporters

I think he's politicking, I doubt this reality of the hard life South Africans live in democracy hit him this hard while he was still in the ANC, now all of sudden things are so bad?

Malema is pushing the narrative which encourages people to turn to government to solve their problems for them. He is suggesting that the reason the the EFF (Government?) are unable, or struggling, to give black people wealth and riches are because whites have "land" and when the EFF gets the "land" from said whites, and gives it to black people, things will turn into a utopia.

This approach worked wonders in Zimbabwe. The irony is that it appears that most people who fall for this BS think that the EFF are going to give them deeds to the "land" taken from whites.

My issue with our current batch of politicians, the whole lot of them, are that more government equals more prosperity.

    Disclaimer: I'm no Malema fan

Not exactly what he's saying if you look at EFF's policy on land (again, not suggesting I (dis)agree with their land policy).

Once the state is in control and custodianship of all land, those who are currently using the land or intend using land in the immediate will apply for land-use licences, which should be granted only when there is a purpose for the land being applied for. Those applying for licences will be granted licences for a maximum of 25 years, renewable on the basis that the land is being used as planned. The state should, within this context, hold the right to withdraw the licence and reallocate the land for public purposes.
    Yeah whatever mate
