    Default Load shedding

How will load shedding affect hosting companies? What does it mean for my website?

Pretty much all hosting companies will have backup power, so it shouldn't be an issue.
Unless you host with Piet from Boksburg.

They have backup/redundant power. Diesel powered generators.

Welcome to the forum. Any decent hosting company will have its facilities within an N+1 facility and provide backup power via generator.

Bare in mind that this is not the first, nor not the last of load shedding for South Africans so we are well equipped and prepared.
