Default MTN VAS “Bigcash” charging account

Is anyone else getting this VAS added to their account? This is the third or fourth time I have had to unsubscribe from some dodgy MTN VAS I have not chosen to subscribe to.

    This is the typical SMS

REMINDER: You are subscribed to BigCash at R2.00 per day. Play now http://bit.ly/2DRb23t . To Opt out dial *464*970#. Your next renewal date is tomorrow.

As far as I can see MTN is not the only offender. I think it is a disgrace that they permit the misuse of their systems in this way.

My wife got exactly the same message today and there is no way on earth she subscribed...

I was irritated we had to unsubscribe from something we never subscribed for

    I entered
    *141*5#and blocked PRS going fwd
AND *123*2# and follow the commands to unsubscribe from BigData

It will probably pop up again in a couple of days time. I had to remove it 3 or 4 times in the end
