I looked at the print advert this morning, shocking that it is not stipulated explicitly anywhere on that page.

Even the webadd doesn't state it clearly https://secure.telkom.co.za/today/campaign/july-big-deal-2018/

What is the alternative? Get the landline then go Axxess or something?

    So an update,

Spoke to Telkom yesterday and it was not a Telkom agent how phoned me.....The place name is Sell direct......First thought was HTF did they get my details?

Spoke to Sell direct and lodged a dispute regarding the agent that lied to me about the t's & c's also made it clear that I want to revert back to my old package and that they will be accoutable for any costs. Had to phone selldirect 4 times yesterday yet no one has came back to me. also the helpdesk refuse to put me to a manager

    to be continued

Rather complain on FB.. you might get quicker service and have your contract reverted..... specify they lied to you to get you to sign up

would they even be able to revert you back to your old package? if they did would it be on a month to month or another 24 month contract?

This is why you should always take the time to go to the store and have them do everything from there under your supervision.

But that doesn't explain how sell direct got your details. Did you get the agents name?

if you are paying a premium price for a service then its only right and fair and expected you get a above average level of service. Telkom has zero competition in this area at the moment so they can dicatate at will to cap thier products. They know you wont get a deal similar else where. When fibre rolls out then i am abandoning LTE on telkom mobile. When you lose customers you will be forced to re-think and give customers what they need.Only when you lose business will things change. Take away support and loyalty and lets see how you stay in business.

Not sure how much data you use, but you may be better off to cancel the contract and go prepaid. R755 for 100GB or R1055 for 200GB. It makes cancelling a simple matter of not buying a data bundle and you are not speed-limited.

Of course, if you use more than that it becomes too expensive.
