International Traffic SLOW, or just me

Anyone else experiencing this; tried top open sites in the US and UK - very slow respone times. Using Telkom ADSL

Same here. Constant time-outs etc. This sucks, had to reload my rss feeds 7 times before they loaded :(
 
I opened VPN to my office; my company is using IS hosting; had no problems browsing internationally through them
 
Spoke to a friend of myne; his got Telkom ADSL (Telkom Service Provider) like myself; and he too is experiencing problems this morning
 
Had no International from 9.00 pm last night. Still nothing this morning.
 
Problems here aswell. International web sites are dead, local is fine.

If I had to guess I would say its a faulty router somewhere on Telkom's side, as my IS account has no problems.

I ran my trusty old packet sniffer while connecting to www.microsoft.com, and the return packets from Telkom are all flagged as "TCP_CHECKSUM_INCORRECT". So I would guess busted router or cache server at Telkom.

been listing to the Telkom Please Hold.... song from hell for like forever now; spoke to the call desk; helped to set dns and proxy (which I dont see how this could have made a difference because then my connection would have never worked;

I am phoning the ADSL Internet number or something; and listening to that dreadful song cause they gave me a reference number and said that I need to speak to a specialist.
 
Can you please share those DNS and proxy settings, so we can use it until the problem is fixed?

EDit: The sniffers name is wireshark. I get exactly the same problem on www.yahoo.co.uk (checksum_incorrect)

Telkom DNS --

DNS: 196.25.255.34
ALTdns: 196.25.255.3

But this is not making a difference, and the proxy address is not working at all; but this is the one they gave me -

dsl-cache.site.net:8080
