    slow speed in durban

I thought 2600mhz would solve the problem. I went to get some groceries the other day and on the way there I tested the speed 4-5 times around 5:45pm. The 1st test was 10mbps, 2nd 12mbps and 3rd/4th 20-22 mbps.. didn't check the dBm, asu or band though

    slow speed in durban

even if we game on these speeds the lag is unreal. Youtube buffers at 144p resolution. Speedtest sometimes refuses to load. Its actually worse than 56k dial up. Perhaps their taking advantage of their non-existent customer support by giving us bad speeds with no way of contacting them.

Then on this past Sunday afternoon, I'm not sure what they did to their towers, but I now get 2mbps...

    slow speed in durban

Its ridiculous, I've been complaining about bad speeds since June last year, they always say a technician will get back to me, but literally no one follows up on my issue, and I get an auto survey asking me if my query has been resolved.

Interesting, I thought the lack of speed could've been distance to the tower, but since your less than 1km away your speeds should be blazing fast. Your right, It does feel like were being hard throttled, my up speed at night is 6+ mbps, and down speed less than 2mbps. Based on my previous...

I used to get 20-30 mbps when I first signed up, and it gradually started decreasing 6+ months in, now I can't even get an actual response from Rain, its nothing but automated responses.

extremely slow speeds during the day (0.5 - 1.5 mbps) night time still slow but not as bad (4 - 5 mbps). something has to be done, we can't pay for a service we can't use.
