Nurburgring Langstrecken-Serie 2026
There were 4 South Africans competing in NLS2: Kelvin vd Linde in the BMW (#98) - P12 in class Jordan Pepper in the BMW (#99) - P1 in class and overall David Perel in the Ferrari (#45) - P3 in class Jonathan Mogotsi in the VW (TCR I think?) (#819) - DNF -> Confirmed that he will be back for NLS3 -
SolarAssistant - Anyone using it?
The Beta looks really cool. It has graphs for estimated solar yield and cloud cover. The graphs also feel a bit more modern with a dark mode now inlcuded. I tried the beta end of last year, but it broke some other stuff, so I rolled back. Will purchse the 1 year pro license when the next...- 1nsane!

Monthly Solar Production - Show us yours
Replaced my old lead acid setup with 3 x Pylontech US300C batteries. When it's time to replace them, I would go the Deye route or something else.- 1nsane!

I wonder how many of them are primarily banked with Capitec... I have a Capitec account, but I hardly use it. The R7.50 account fee is cheap enough to keep it as a backup.- 1nsane!

Synology NAS Reviewers Needed – You Get to Keep the Device!
My DVR device is very sensitive to power dips and chews through drives, leading to lost video footage. By storing the files on a NAS, it would greatly improve reliability and availability. Synology Surveillance Station, running Plex, storing media- 1nsane!

Puma just joined the list of partners. 30% cash back on tier 5, capped at R3000 spend. There is a promo running where tier 5 clients get 60% discount (capped at R3k spend) until 30 June 2025. I confirmed with the helpdesk that this spend is in it's own category.- 1nsane!
