Not true, IPTV is unreliable doesn't matter your connection, most providers simply don't have the infrastructure to deal with many people streaming at once, whats the point of it anyway, to have 1000s of channels you dont even watch, then on top of it deal with buffering problems .Your best bet...

When streaming use a wired connection, wifi is unstable and prone to interferance regardless of how fast your network speed is. If you have to use wifi use 5ghz and change your wifi channel to 48 for 5ghz and 6 for 2ghz. You can also try resetting your router.
