    N1/R300 interchange to De bron => SANRAL De bron to Klipheuwel => Western Cape Province I have unofficially received an update from Province. Tender is going out now. Appointment of contractor will be early next year and construction to start second part of 2027.

    Fairtrees will be the main road that the workers use to get to the construction site. Since the R300 will be an elevated road, you can imagine the hundreds of loads of dirt and concrete that will be trucked in. 4 years of construction to extend the R300 from the N1 intersection to Wellington road.

    I was in the Cape Town CBD on Saturday morning and a white T2 left the V&A and I drove behind it for a few kms. It somehow looks better than the Land Rover Defender it is based on. I think these are going to sell like hot cakes.
