The 208 GTI isn’t the most reliable motor apparently.
The Fiesta ST will probably be the most fun, I really enjoyed test driving one. Megane 3 RS will be great too. Clio RS is pretty good but the Megane is nicer. A sensible daily that’s still good fun will be a Polo GTI.
The 2007 cars were the ones with the issues. I had a 2008 that I drove for a bit - had 200k km when I sold it and still runs well (I’ve stayed in touch with the new owner).
2010 will be a Clio RS 200 facelift, not a 197.
That dealership isn’t known for selling cars at a good price. Knock off 10k for a 2008 model and another 10k to 20k because they charge a premium over most dealers.
Then consider that the dealer needs to make a profit, pay staff and warrant the car for 6 months and that’s where the R30k+ profit...
Pity if it's still the same... the new facelift looks pretty good inside and out. Definitely a car I WOULD HAVE recommended to people buying in this segment if it wasn't for the poor crumple zones
I had it in my S Class. Definitely something worth having, given the option. It happened to brake for me a few times while I was moving my foot to the brake pedal. Impressive bit of kit
The guy lives (or used to) in an apartment block very near Sandton City. I saw that car parked in the basement before it had been wrapped. Explains why he would've driven it in Sandton.

I've got a 2011 320d E90 manual with the N47t motor. Getting 7.3 l/100km with a lot of town and traffic driving. Now that I'm back in action work-wise, I'll be keeping a close eye on the fuel consumption with...
Anyone else got a fairly soft mic? When on the phone, a lot of people complain that they can't hear me.
Not an issue when I'm on speaker or using bluetooth audio so I'm assuming the bottom mic is giving trouble or noise cancelling might be.
No idea what to try before trying to send it in :(...
