    I think I'll just buy a Xiaomi MI 4C router I noticed it's ridiculously cheap for R229 and can be used both as a router or a WiFi extender. Checked it out on YouTube it even has an app for easy setup.

    Yes I unfortunately pressed the reset button afterwards. I also thought they could configure it over the air, so I'm stuck with no internet.

    I spoke to the tech team, my mistake was resetting the router and it needs to be reconfigured, everything else is okay. Waiting on them to come and reconfigure the device.
