    Thanks for all the advice from everybody, I am washing my hands with it, great little car but parts, especially sensors either discontinued or too hard to find, she is going to be sold, maybe someone else will have better luck. Thanks again.

    When replacing crank position sensor, does the engine need to be at TDC?

    Thanks, already tried that, need to check wiring to crank sensor, I think at the end of the day it'll be something really simple, always is.

    Got a scan done, replaced crank sensor, now it is even worse. Ecu doesn't seem to reset. Giving me grey hair. Apparently it will only reset after 10 to 20 restarts?

    Got a feeling it's the throttle position sensor, just took it off the car, should it be spring loaded? If i turn it manually with a screwdriver there is no tension.

    Engine runs ok, then dies, mainly when hot, restarts straight away, fixed a few vacuum leaks, it's a little better but problem is still there, also replaced temp sender switch.

    Apparently if it's worn on the keyway it can cause problems? Doesn't have a crank position sensor. Been working on this problem for a week now, will take any advice.

    Car cuts out for no apparent reason, was told the pulley is a common problem.

    Just need to know if I change my crank pulley on 2.0l 16v opel astra, will it disturb the cam belt?
