I am looking for a free-standing gas-stove electric-oven which is good value in South Africa. Defy used to be good, but I've been told that since manufacturing moved to Turkey, spare parts are a problem. Some advice about makes and models would be greatly appreciated.
I will be travelling to the U.S. on business. Please recommend an Android phone, up to R5,000, that will take a U.S. SIM card and be useable there. Obviously it should also be useable in S.A.
Most inbuilt launchers these days are pretty good. So I look for a third-party launcher which adds features that are important to me, like an agenda widget and weather widget. The best are smart launcher and Niagara launcher. Kvaesitso, which is free, is also excellent.
For me, the best app is MiXplorer - free unless you want to pay. It's a great file explorer and storage access app, for dropbox etc. It's also a doc reader and music player.

I wonder how many people actually "press one now" or buy anything the spammers are offering. I never have or will. Sadly, it must be enough to make it worth their while.
