    yes only does it when mains are disconnected and inverter is off (Red button) Maybe it is that my 100W panel is not strong enough to charge the unit alone.

    Hi ,i have the 1Kw unit. the charging light is always showing it charging. i have only change the settings for the battery to Li and then for solar to charge first.

    The solar panel charges battery with the Eskom power but seems the inverter must be switched on. My first thoughts was to run 12v off it and charge battery during the day and use inverter when needed say at night.

    Hi,the strange thing about my trolley is,and i don't know if it must be that way is. I have a 100w panel on mine. I thought to only try charge battery with it but it sounds a alarm after awhile and restarts. Don't know if it is nomal. I have the battery on but the inverter off (red button)

    What is strange is my old battery system i have with lead battery and solar.The solar charge to 14.4V. Wonder why the navasolar stops at 14.1V

    Ok i see that the settings are the same for Li or SLA. think you can modify it if you want ,but i am sure its ok as it is. i also see that it has charge this morning to 14.1V and is resting at 13.5V now.

    according to the settings it is .14.1 bulk and 13.5v float don't sound too bad.

    Ok went to check again. Its on 14.1V so that must be the bulk

    Well the battery went from 13.7 to 13.9V just by changing. the highest the charge has been yesterday and that was 14.3V . the voltage is normally around 13.6 or 13.7V

    I have the 1Kw unit and i don't see the setting 14 in the manual Hi i found the setting num.14 and change it to Li so it seems it is charging better. will see later when Sun comes out and what the solar panel also does. Thanks for all the info guys.

    Hi goodday i am new to the forum. i bought a navasolar trolley,my question is. how do you change the battery type. mine shows SLA and not Lit ?
