    How much tax government collects on every litre of petrol

    Sadly, these taxes are not to the benefit of the road users either. If taxes were applied towards the maintenance, upgrades and safety of roads, I would pay with a smile, but currently, we pay for an increasing amount of potholes, and deterioration of roads, with the added danger of Hijackings...
