I haven’t used CRON PLA or PETG, but have had excellent results with their ABS.
Stringing in PLA is usually because you’re running too hot. And any PETG is a string monster. Best is to dry your filaments, especially PETG, to prevent stringing
I agree that with that budget a Bambu P1S is the way to go. You’ll be able to do proper filaments like ABS and ASA as well - especially when you want to use them as engineering samples that can be functional as well
When they get stock it goes quick. I bought a 4GB two weeks ago, so they are getting stock in. Just be patient. PiShop is the cheapest as they're not trying to sell you a bundle, you can get just the Pi and that's like R1200 a few weeks ago
Haha, I have two as well. And it's because they're brilliant and work seamlessly between my Windows PC, MacBook and iPad (same with the keyboard).
And if we're going to be geeking out over pointing devices, I recently got this for design work. Took a while to get used to it, but now I find...
I much prefer SBS as well. It’s awesome for projects that needs a little give but can still retain its shape. Ideal for phone cases (I have a pic here somewhere where I made a large iPad case out of SBS)
