    I've got a job as a programmer too. I work in the pharmaceutical industry as a SAS programmer, which basically means my programs are more of a "service" (i.e. information to data, statistics, etc) than a compiled program. My mobile apps and other .NET apps I own, I give away for free.

    You're fighting a losing battle with your "I'll charge what I want for it" mentality. Either people will pirate it, or a free version will be made available. You can rant and rave on message boards, but honestly, a huge number of people couldn't give a **** what you think about your overpriced...

    Says a lot about you as a person. If I had a "molecular assembler", I would give cars to poor people. Give them the software they need. Give them the education they need. That's the only way we'll improve the state of the world.
