Rate Afrihost
I rate Afrihost Highly in value for money, however support is lacking I first signed up with Afrihost in around 2011 and their service was nothing short of amazing but over the years it has degraded. This is understandable as the margins of ISP's get squeezed due to monopolies and market...- Batman77

Afrihost on MTN has gone from 40-50Mbps to 1 to 3 Mbps download over the last week as well so you may well land up in exactly the same position- Batman77

The MTN service from Afrihost is very frustrating - when it is working it is amazing near 50mbps speed, but it is so inconsistent, i have constant issues - i had my simcard not working for over a week after the first month of the switchover from Cell C(they forgot to RICA it) then more than once...- Batman77

The RAIN 5G uncappped usage thread
Only had the 5g running for a few days -- I dont have the option of fibre -- so the loadshedding issue is a minor irritation -- Batman77

I am super impressed - upload speed is low, but with no Fibre available it still blows away anything available in my area, and the test was done way outside of the blue patch. Loadshedding plays havoc with it, but that is hardly Rain's fault RSRQ -10.0dB RSRP -98dBm RSSI -69dBm SINR 0dB 5G...- Batman77

5G ODU - Professional antenna installer or DIY?
Does anyone know if the ODU ia available for purchase anywhere? I am operating outside of the 'blue patch' and am able to connect with the indoor unit, but the signal comes and goes - I've searched online and can't find it anywhere and very little information except for the ICASA approval- Batman77
